Else Mobile - Webkit Based Mobile Browser

We worked with a Else Mobile to develop a prototype browser for their new Else mobile phone. We ported Webkit, our favorite open-source browser-engine to run on Else's new Linux-based embedded platform. This project included developing on reference hardware, debugging embedded software, and working with tight memory and processor limitations. We got the chance to develop Kinetic-scrolling, a communication layer for the out-of-process WebKit engine and a dynamic system to handle View caching and region invalidation prediction.
